Create a freestanding, large entertainment center by creating two stacks of cabinets the same height on either side of one wider cabinet which serves as the base or focal point for the center. Use a countertop to span the entire unit for the main shelf, or use a glass desktop or reclaimed door in place of the countertop. Connect cabinets to one another by drilling holes through one into the next, securing with bolts and nuts. This way, you can disassemble them easily later on. Drill holes in the backs and bottoms of cabinets to allow for cables and wiring. Add a power strip inside one of the cabinets for tidy cords.
The entertainment center features a high gloss ebony finish that makes it versatile and easy to integrate in just about any decor. It would look equally beautiful in both traditional and modern homes. It has built-in boiserie and optional piers included. The overall dimensions of the Nightfly entertainment center are 59W x 20D x 71H inches. It has a compact design with two main structures. It includes space for the TV but it would also be a good idea to mount it on the wall and to use that space for storage or display.
While I like the clean look of my basic television console, I have been itching for something a little larger on which to display books and family photos. But I do not want to end up with a big, heavy wall unit reminiscent of what my parents had in the 1990s. That is why I love these entertainment centers that provide extra space for display and storage while maintaining a clean look.
