There are plenty of nooks and crannies to place your equipment, but the rear corners are cut to allow easier placement in a corner.

Use wall anchors if studs are not located in the corner where the TV will be installed, but be certain the wall construction is sufficient to support the television. Wood paneling, for example, may not be strong enough to support the set without splitting or cracking.

The piece that you see here was designed by Morten Georgsen and it has a beautiful design that's both modern and minimalist. As you can see, it's composed of two basic shapes. There's a low unit that can be used as a TV stand with storage drawers underneath that have drop-down doors and another storage unit with matte glass doors. The TV can also be suspended and the efect would be approximately the same.
